YES it's here the G27 Wheel from Logitech arrives. Adrenalin Factor will be getting its hands on one of the first Wheels in Australia in the coming weeks for a review courtesy of Logitech. Will Logitech come on board and donate one as 1st prize for Season VI winner, we shall see. There has been alot of talk recently about this Wheel, some leaked photo's and some fakes. But its here now and will be on sale in September.
Added Buttons on the Wheel and an LED Display are the most obvious additions, but look deeper the true changes are not merely eye candy. Helical Gear system to the Force Feedback an increase of Wheel size from 10" to 11" and the reworking of the Shifter Internals for smooth shifting. Looking at the Shifter the notable absence of the Sequential shift will disappoint us V8 Super Car racers and most Tin Tops. That said the new gearing system I'm told will easily make up for this . The G25 Shifter I believe is not compatible with the G27
